Glenn Cruz

I am currently employed in the Secretariat of the Philippine National AIDS Council, the country's central policy making, planning and monitoring body for the national response to HIV and AIDS. I mainly perform coordination and technical assistance in the areas of advocacy and social marketing, policy and program development. I started in HIV and AIDS work as a peer educator for gay, bisexual men, transgenders and other males who have sex with males for the prevention of sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. I am one of the charter members of a non-government organization called TLF SHARE Collective, a membership organization of peer educators, trainers and advocates for HIV prevention, treatment and care, LGBT rights advocacy and community organizing.
