3. Protection against bullying?  x   Peer bullying in schools is rampant.LGBT students prefer remain in closet as there is fear of stigma and severe discrimination , may result in dismissal of student as well. In most cases LGBTIQ people ultimately leave school due to sexual and physical abuse by seniors and also teachers.
4. No drop-out?    x They definitely drop out more. There is clear evidence of this fact. Most have left school while in primary class or in secondary and cannot continue furhter due to severe stigmatization and bullying and abuse.
5. Equal performance?  x   Thousand of those who I interacted with were not so good in academic as lack of support results in decline interest in studies while at the same time there are others who are exceptionally good beacuse they are supported by families. So where there is family support many LGBT students continue and bale to bear the stigma that they face in schools.
6. Is there public information?x     Discussion about sex, sexuality, sexuality diversity is a taboo. People don't discuss and prefer to keep these things under the carpet. I remember when we had a session on HIV/AIDS in a University in Delhi, India, the Principal asked us specifically not to do any condom demonstration in the institution premises, and mins you, it was with University students and not with schools kids.
