Peter Dankmeijer

Peter Dankmeijer is director of Empowerment Lifestyle Services, Dutch Expertise Centre on LGBT Education Issues. In the Netherland, Empowerment focusses on collaboration with the government, school support institutes and schools themselves to enhance quality of life for LGBT people in educational settings and to enhance quality policies which combat discrimination an heteronormativity. The profit of Empowerment is used to create new projects to further these aims. During 2004-2007, Peter Dankmeijer created GALE and is currently executive director of the foundation which supports GALE.
