James Robinson

I am a doctoral student studying International Education at Northcentral University. I am focusing my studies on sub-Saharan Africa and more precisely South Africa. I founded an NGO for the LGBTQ community in Alabama and I was the CEO from 2009 through 2017. The agency closed in May 2018. The agency's mission was to end violence while advocating for the Human and Civil Rights of sexual and gender minorities. The agency provided free mental health services to any survivor of violence. I developed mental healthcare experience through program development and supervision of clinical staff. My work as an activist and advocate emcompasses neglected and abused populations. Also, I have experience as a public school Special Education teacher. www.jamesrobinson.online
