Introduction

This short survey helps GALE (The Global Alliance for LGBT Education) to make a country report for you which gives an overview of how the right to education in your country is respected and implemented for LGBT people. Actually, we prefer here to speak about DESPOGI people: "Disadvantaged because of their Expression of Sexual Preference Or Gender Identity". We think discrimination of 'heterosexuals' on these grounds is just as bad as discrimination of 'LGBT', and we want to prevent exclusion of people based on a classification that some people may not feel comfortable with.

The survey consist of 22 questions. Please write the answers in English. Our questions and standard answers focus on the role of the State to secure these rights, but you can also add information about what happens in practice.

Feel free to ask friends and educators you know to fill in the survey. Upon request, we will send you the report when we finish it or update it. The questions about your name and email are not mandatory, and if your give us your contact details, we will not give these to others or bother you with mails unless you ask us to.
